Can I provide my own artwork?
Yes, you can provide us with your own artwork for screenprinting and embroidery. However, it must be in vector format (.ai or .pdf created from Adobe Illustrator) Any other version will require us to redraw the art and this will incur an additional "art creation" fee. All fonts must be converted to outlines. If not, we will do our best to find the exact font you used, but cannot guarantee it (there are thousands of fonts!).
Can I send you my design that I created in Canva?
Yes, we are happy to accept your designs created in Canva, however there will be an "art creation" fee as we will have to recreate the artwork. Canva art is not print-ready. You must tell us what font you used if you want a specific one, otherwise we will do our best to guess at what the font is, but there is no guarantee.

Embroidery & Monogram Questions
What is the difference between Embroidery and a Monogram?
Embroidery of monograms has quickly become the hot new trend. However, these terms can be confusing. Embroidery is the stitching, while monograms are the three letters that make up your initials. People often ask us to “monogram a name.” A name can only be embroidered, not monogrammed. So, when you are choosing fonts or monograms, please keep in mind to only choose a monogram style if you are submitting initials. If you are submitting a name, choose a font style.
What are the Rules of Monogramming?
The earliest female monograms had the first name initial on the left, middle name initial on the right and last name initial larger in the center. This monogram is still used most often today. As monograms began to cross gender lines the traditional male monogram emerged as having the letters of equal size in order of first initial, middle initial, and last initial. This monogram is still used today by both males and females. So… there are really no rules to a monogram – it is a personal choice.
What's the correct order for initials?
There isn't a right or wrong order to monogram initials. Different countries have different traditions. The most common order for a single lady is her first name initial followed by the last name initial and then the middle name initial. A boy or man can request a straight monogram in the order of his name. For example, the monogram would consist of the first name initial followed by the middle name initial and then the last name initial. He can also request a diamond monogram in the order of the first name initial, last name initial and middle name initial.
What if I want to order for a couple using a combined monogram?
Combined monograms are so common and a great way to give a gift to a newly married couple. Please enter the bride's name as the "first name initial", the grooms name as the "middle name initial" and their married last name as the "last name initial". We'll take care of the rest. The monogram will have the bride's initial on the left, the grooms initial on the right and their new last name initial larger, in the center.
How do I care for my embroidered item?
All items can be washed and dried however, please take special care with your embroidered item. Do not wash it with other items that have buttons, zippers or anything else that could snag the embroidery. Shirts and other clothing items should be washed inside out on a gentle cycle unless specified otherwise in the garment. Sassy Shoppe is not responsible for damage to the products by misuse, normal wear or by dry cleaning. Items that are white with only embroidery on embellishments can also be bleached without worry of the thread color fading. We use the finest threads to ensure they are colorfast!
